Proposals Owners presented to HRH The Princess Royal
Amanda and Caroline the owners of Proposals were presented to HRH The Princess Royal at a reception to celebrate the opening of the new showrooms of Alan Hannah. It was a wonderful occasion and HRH spoke individually to everyone there. “We practised our curtseying for weeks before hand and they went very well on the day!”, said Amanda.
The RBA Brides Protection Scheme - A world first!
From January 2011, brides purchasing their wedding dress at an RBA member store will have their deposit GUARANTEED against loss should the retailer cease trading involuntarily.
How will I know that the wedding shop is qualified to offer the RBA scheme?
Look for the 2011 RBA Member sticker in the window or check the members directory.

Vintage at Goodwood
The inspirational new festival is due to take place 13th,14th & 15th August. All Chichester retailers have been invited to take part in the spirit of the festival and to choose an era to reflect in the shop window design, interior displays and staff dressing up! What a fun idea, we are all really excited about joining in at Proposals and the ideas are flowing! So keep a look out for our themed window from 7th August onwards!

We do like to bring our brides all things new and exciting and we were thrilled to be able to sign up our exclusivity with Gemy Couture.
Their designs are really innovative with unusual fabrics. Gowns arriving in store October! Can't wait!
Alan Hannah - new collection - sneak preview!
Alan and Margaritte's new collection will be in store in September, but for those of you who can't wait, here is just a sample from the new range! We loved the classic Alan Hannah cut and luxurious fabrics (as always), with just a hint of "vintage" this time we thought - gorgeous!
